Hi, I'm Johann
It's nice to meet you. I would like to tell you about my work here, and explain why I like working at STULZ. Perhaps we'll be colleagues some day soon?
-
I am very open and interested in other people, thanks to the experience I was able to gain abroad during my degree. Working with colleagues and customers from different cultures and finding my way round new – foreign – places has always fascinated me greatly, and continues to keep me motivated today. In my job here, I still have the opportunity to do this, and am lucky enough to be able to continually expand my global horizons.
-
During my combined IT course (high school diploma/A Levels and apprenticeship as a Technical IT Assistant), I gained a valuable first insight into the world of information technology. After that, I took an International Degree in Business and Engineering. What was special about this course was that I had to spend one semester studying abroad, and another semester on placement abroad. I studied in South Africa, and I did two placements at different German companies in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai. Finally, I wrote my thesis at STULZ and was then given a job.

I first became aware of STULZ at a trade fair by the VDI (Association of German Engineers) in Hamburg. During a panel discussion, STULZ GmbH was presented as an international company, and I promptly sought out the Human Resources Manager at the trade fair stand. I was then invited to an interview, and taken on as a student employee.
Today, I am responsible for making sure that my global customers always get products that meet their requirements, and receive optimum service locally.
