The convenient regulation of comfort air-conditioning systems online: STULZ is expanding its CompTrol series
The CompTrol control and monitoring technology from STULZ offers flexible solutions for the management of comfort air-conditioning units from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. And the climate control expert from Hamburg is expanding its product portfolio further. Using CompTrol Interface 4Web and a web interface for CompTrol ZLT, it is now possible for the first time to access air-conditioners online.
Hamburg, October 2010. Using CompTrol Interface 4Web from STULZ, air-conditioning systems from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries can now be managed via the World Wide Web. An Ethernet connection has made it possible to access up to four air-conditioners using a standard web browser. This means that the end user will be able to control the temperature in the various rooms or even restart the entire system. And should anything go wrong, an error message is sent to the user per e-mail, meaning problems can be localised off-site too. Air-conditioning technicians are thus able to access troubleshooting information online and familiarise themselves with the problem in advance. CompTrol Interface 4Web can be used for the installation of a new air-conditioner, as well as for the cost-efficient updating of an existing system and will be available from the start of 2011.
CompTrol ZLT: Control systems managed easily online
It is now also possible to control and monitor air conditioners online thanks to the central building management system CompTrol ZLT from Stulz. A new interface has recently enabled users to access the air conditioners via both the Intranet and Internet. A standard web browser is thus able, for example, to regulate temperatures and fan stages online. A system administrator simply decides which user is granted access to which unit within a building. The benefit to the user is clear: He is able to log on directly via the browser to the central building management system from anywhere within or outside of the building. The tried and tested software from Stulz, CompTrol ZLT, still manages the configuration of the entire air-conditioning system. The web browser interface for CompTrol ZLT will be available from the end of 2010.
“The option to conveniently manage these systems online allows our customers to be more flexible in their operation of air-conditioning systems and detect errors faster. This saves both time and money”, says Markus Trautwein, Head of Product Management in the Air Conditioning and Humidification Systems division at STULZ. The new products will first make an appearance in October at Chillventa 2010 in Nuremberg.
CompTrol Touch: Elegant and easy to operate
Rounding off the CompTrol series from STULZ is the central remote controller CompTrol Touch, which has been on the market since the start of the year. And what makes this controller stand out? A large touchscreen panel that enables the user to intuitively operate and monitor air-conditioning systems. And to make operation of this controller even easier, the touchscreen functions have been enlarged on the 15" display.
With the CompTrol series, STULZ is providing control system solutions for a variety of applications. All CompTrol products are suitable for use with the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air-conditioning systems distributed by STULZ.
